Water Literacy Project Updates

It’s April 11 and your homework is due!

It’s been nearly a month since Navigate 2012 and we’re excited to hear about all the creative and innovative water literacy projects that the teams have committed to since the summit. Make sure to update us on your plans and progress so that we can share your stories with this great network of committed water ambassadors. Please send updates, photos or videos to the Navigate co-captains Kathryn Wagner & Jill Swingler.

Now that you have had a chance to let the information percolate, inflitrate and seep in we would also like to know what you thought of the summit and our Navigators. Please take a few moments to complete our online survey, your feedback is very important to us!

Thank you to all the dedicated teachers, amazing students, inspiring guests and supporting partners who participated in Navigate 2012. Congratulations to everyone, the summit was a huge success because of you!

We are so excited about your Water Literacy Projects, we heard so many great ideas and can’t wait to share your stories about how you’ve transformed learning into action by sharing the Navigate experience with your schools and communities!   Be sure to update us with your plans, invite us to your events and your school may even be featured on our next program. Remember we need your plan by April 11th.

With an event that brought so many like minded teachers, students and experts together it would be a shame if we didn’t keep in touch. Use the Navigate 2012 Facebook page to maintain connections, share ideas and promote your school’s project and continue the great discussions about water in Alberta.

You represent an amazing group of ambassadors that can be proud to be a part of advancing water literacy in Alberta.
