Activities and Workshops

We have many hands-on activities and workshops planned for both students and teachers! We are excited to welcome the following workshop hosts:

Sue Arlidge, University of Calgary Biogeoscience Institute

The Biogeoscience Institute is a hub for water research and innovation in the area and we are pleased to have Sue join us as our guide to the local watershed. Sue will lead us on an interpretive walk through this picturesque landscape while highlighting how the ecology, history and landscape are linked through the watershed.

Debbie Webb & Laurie Hunt, NAIT Water/Wastewater Mobile Education Unit

This energetic team from NAIT will bring 4 great laboratory-based science activities to life as they lead us through turbidity tests, biotic indicator assessments, water quality parameters and disinfection techniques.
