Navigate Keynote Announced!

Rocket Scientist. Explorer.

We are thrilled to announce our keynote speaker for Navigate 2018 is Natalie Panek – Natalie is a rocket scientist, adventurer, and advocate for women in technology. As a Member of Technical Staff at MDA’s Robotics and Automation division, Natalie works on the next generation of Canadian space robotics and space exploration programs. She seeks to pursue the road less travelled while working towards her dream of becoming an astronaut.

Extraordinary experiences have shaped her dreams of becoming an astronaut; whether learning to fly, driving a solar-powered car across North America, or building space robotics. Natalie was recently named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network, a Forbes 30 under 30 2015, and “a vocal advocate for women in technology” by The Financial Post.
